Dusty roses

The new Floating Points? All the long & improbable way from future garage to neoclassical-inflected quasi-ambient, Roof Light covers a prodigious amount of ground. The stately, crackling Trenches, Riverbeds And The Weigh Path Sill may be his best track, though its breathy 12 minutes could probably do with an edit. In an utterly different vein, the frisky, clicky Cherise is a tasty, spacious treat too..."I just really like all kinds of music".

"Some records this year on - Styrax (LP+EP middle of 2010) and Highpoint Lowlife (LP end of March +2X EP'S in April ) L2S (EP in April) and MJ Cole's Prolific label (EP April/May) FACT podcast around May/July and a few remixes here and there."
Plenty more tracks streaming here.

Important: LMYE only makes music available that artists/labels have chosen to share freely. Let us know if something here shouldn't be.
